Shooting at Saskatoon apartment not random: police

SASKATOON – Police say a shooting at an apartment building Tuesday morning in Saskatoon’s Pleasant Hill neighbourhood does not appear to be a random act. Officers were called to the building in the 100-block of Avenue T South around 4:40 a.m. CT.

According to investigators, a verbal altercation was taking place with residents of a suite when a firearm was discharged.

There were no injuries.

No arrests have been made and the targeted enforcement unit continues to investigate.
