Fire crews assessed the school to ensure there were no other hazards present before turning the scene over to police and a school representative.

A classroom on the south end of the school and a set of exterior doors were damaged in the collision. A damage estimate is not available at this time.

Following the initial review, officials with Saskatoon Public Schools say classes will run as scheduled Monday. Students in the affected classroom will be relocated to a different location in the school.

Additionally, the school will still operate as a polling station for the provincial election Monday.
