A judge imposed several conditions on the 29-year-old, which includes respecting a 10 p.m. curfew.

Villanueva is the brother of Fredy Villanueva, a teenager who was shot and killed by an officer in 2008.

The incident became a symbol of the harsh tensions between police and the city’s visible minority community.

In February, immigration officials allowed the Honduran native to stay in Canada as long as he stayed out of trouble.

There is no word yet on whether these latest charges will change his immigration status.

Villanueva returns to court June 22.
