MONTREAL – Montrealers could soon get to experience a little trip under the sea.

Tourism Montreal has started talks with the owners of Ripley’s Believe It Or Not to build an aquarium, possibly in the city’s Old Port.

Discussions are still in the early stages, André-Anne Pelletier, a representative with Tourism Montreal told Global Montreal.

Ripley’s already has an aquarium in Toronto that cost $130 million to build.

There was one built in Montreal for Expo 67, but it closed in 1991.
