Before you ask, no, Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, did not reveal if Jon Snow is really dead – you’ll have to wait anxiously piecing together clues on “Jon Snow truther” subreddits for another month before Season 6 airs.
However, he did make plenty of references to HBO’s most popular show of all time.
George R.R. Martin, performed by SNL cast member Bobby Moynihan, helps Dinklage in his opening monologue by writing a few jokes including a reference to the Lannisters’ infamous incestuous nature and the show’s proclivity to display nudity unnecessarily.
Later in the show, Dinklage takes part in a mock behind-the-scenes look at Season 6 of Game of Thrones.
The “preview” focused on the “revolutionary” motion capture technology that goes into filming scenes with the show’s dragons.

Moynihan, dressed up as the dragon Drogon in a motion-capture suit, keeps annoying the cast as he interrupts the scenes with his antics.
Dinklage deviated from the Game Of Thrones parodies to show off his comedy chops in several skits including one where he appears on Naked And Afraid: Celebrity Edition.
For Dinklage, surviving in the woods in the buff is not his greatest challenge, it’s surviving 21 days with SNL’s rowdy cast member Leslie Jones.
Game Of Thrones’ sixth season starring Dinklage airs April 24, 2016 on HBO.
