Subway service has been restored between Donlands and Victoria Park after a fire investigation at Main Street Station Friday morning.
Officials were alerted of smoke in the electrical room just after 6 a.m. during the start of the rush hour commute.
At one point, at least 71 shuttle buses were put into service to help move riders along and relieve the congestion.
However, there were some complaints of lack of direction from staff and slow shuttle service at some stations.
