The problem is the hockey team does not have access to the Scotiabank Saddledome because of the 2016 Juno Awards being hosted by Calgary over the weekend.

Instead, Friday night’s game will be played at the Stampede Corral, marking the first post-season hockey game to be  played in that building since April 4, 1998.

WATCH: The adjustments on the ice have been made, but Brendan Parker takes you through some of the adjustments players need to make for the WHL tilt at the Stampede Corral.

The Corral will open to the public at 5:30 p.m. to allow fans to be able to find their seats. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.

The Rebels are leading the best of seven series 2 games to 1. If a game six is necessary, the Hitmen will play in the Corral again Monday.

This is the second time this series has made history. Last weekend, the two teams played three nights in a row, a post-season first for the Hitmen.

WATCH EXTENDED: Legendary Calgary Flames trainer Bearcat Murray took Brendan Parker on a tour of their first home in Calgary the Stampede Corral.
