The Duggars are turning into quite the headache for TV network TLC.
Advertisers are dropping like flies from the new Duggar show Jill & Jessa: Counting On. It seems like a lot of large companies, including Wrigley, The UPS Store, Choice Hotels and Verizon Wireless, made big media buys with TLC and didn’t realize their spots would be running during the show.
Needless to say, the majority of these companies weren’t pleased; at last count, at least 15 have said they are going to pull their ads because they don’t support the show.

UPS Store representatives have also made a statement.
With so many companies pulling their ads, TLC is left to air promos for other TLC programs instead of paid, money-generating ads — which is obviously a problem for the network.

Former Duggar show 19 Kids and Counting was TLC’s number-one show before the network was forced to cancel it after Josh Duggar‘s admission that he molested underage girls.
Jill & Jessa follows Jill and Jessa Duggar (two of Josh’s sisters) as new mothers. Josh Duggar does not make any appearances on the program.
TLC has not commented on the show nor the advertisers’ remarks about the ad placement.
