Well, one American student decided to cheer up his mom by sending her a cardboard cut-out version of himself.
Dalton Ross is studying abroad at the University of Westminster in London. He sent his mom in Tennessee a reminder of himself to keep her company while he’s away.

And his clever idea is starting to go viral. His mother loves the cut-out so much that she brought it along on numerous family outings.
Cardboard Ross has been photographed at sporting events, eating at the family dinner table, tucked in bed with a Dr. Seuss book and playing in the park.
Looks like her beloved son hasn’t left her side after all.
