UPDATE: Langley RCMP say the Explosives Disposal Unit has now attended and confirmed there is nothing of concern in the duffle bag. The area has now been released.

The Explosives Disposal Unit is in Langley this morning after a suspicious duffle bag was found on a bench in front of a business in the Gloucester business district.

The duffel bag was discovered this morning just before 5:30 a.m. in the 27000-block of Gloucester Way.

A perimeter has been established to ensure the safety of people in the area.

The RCMP say the Explosives Disposal Unit is attending out of an abundance of caution.
