In this era of social media, it’s difficult to tell what’s real and what isn’t.
Several celebrities, including Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian, have been accused in the past of Photoshopping photos they’ve posted to social media, and now singer Britney Spears is under fire for doing it on her Instagram account.

Spears posted a picture of herself getting some sun, and many readers were quick to point out a gap underneath her lower back (yes, they’re calling it a “back gap,” named after the “thigh gap” so frequently Photoshopped into pictures).
One reader pointed out that it could be fabric from a bunched-up towel or blanket, but others were insistent that there should be some tile visible.
