Medicine Hat Recovery Centre adding addiction support spaces

EDMONTON – The province said 18 new addiction treatment spaces will open in southern Alberta.

The beds for people struggling with addiction will be located in the new Medicine Hat Recovery Centre, which will open March 28.

“These new treatment beds are a positive step toward providing healthier outcomes for people coping with mental illness and addiction,” Associate Minister of Health Brandy Payne said.
