RCMP in Lunenburg County have charged a 61-year-old man with accessing and possessing child pornography.
Police say they received a complaint on March 21 about a man accessing child porn over the internet in the Chester area.
As a result of their investigation, Arnold (Butch) Leroy Zwicker was arrested at a home in Chester Basin the same night.
Officers served two separate search warrants in relation to the case, one at the Chester Basin home where Zwicker was arrested and another at the Eleanor Pew Memorial Arena.
Police say numerous electronic devices were seized from both locations and three firearms were taken from the home.
Zwicker has been remanded in custody and will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on Wednesday to face the charges.
