Police have released a security camera image of a female suspect wanted in connection to a series of daytime school thefts in east-end Toronto.
It is alleged a woman began her break-and-enter spree Feb. 4 and stole items such as electronics, cash and personal items from unattended classrooms during school hours.

Police say the suspect gained entry by pretending to be a parent registering her child at school.
Authorities say seven schools were targeted including:
- Adam Beck Junior Public School, 400 Scarborough Road
- Blantyre Public School, 290 Blantyre Avenue
- Gledhill Junior Public School, 2 Gledhill Avenue
- Kimberley Junior Public School/Beaches Alternative Junior School, 50 Swanwick Avenue
- Secord Elementary School, 101 Barrington Avenue
- William J McCordic School, 45 Balfour Avenue
- Malvern Collegiate Institute, 55 Malvern Avenue
The woman is described as 5’2″ tall, with a slim build and long blonde hair in a bun.
