Saskatoon Blades end season with 3-2 win over Prince Albert Raiders

SASKATOON – Nikita Soshnin scored the winner in the third period as the Saskatoon Blades snapped a six-game skid with a 3-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders Saturday to wrap up their 2015-16 WHL season. Cameron Hebig and Nolan Reid, on the power play, also chipped in for Saskatoon.

Tim Vanstone and Simon Stransky found the back of the net for the Raiders (38-26-8).

The Blades finish the season with a record of 26-42-4.

Prince Albert will face the Moose Jaw Warriors in the first round of the WHL playoffs.
