UPDATE – Monday:
Kelowna RCMP have identified the people involved in a fatal stabbing. Police say the victim was unresponsive when officers arrived at the Rutland home and appeared to have lost a significant amount of blood.
Waylon Percy Junior Jackson was rushed to hospital in critical condition, but later died from his injuries.
Chad Colton Alphonse now faces a second-degree murder charge.

KELOWNA–Kelowna RCMP are investigating a fatal stabbing.
It happened in Rutland on Friday night, around 9:45 p.m.
RCMP responded to a stabbing the 100 block of Gertsmar Road.
When they arrived, they found an unresponsive man who appeared to have lost a significant amount of blood.
The victim, a 26-year-old Kelowna man, was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
RCMP arrested a suspect a short distance from the scene. He is a 26-year-old Kelowna man who is known to police. The suspect remains in custody.
RCMP say the investigation is in its early stages, but they believe the victim and the suspect were known to each other.
The Kelowna RCMP Serious Crime Unit continues to investigate.
