Masked suspect robs pizza delivery driver in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Police are investigating another robbery involving a Saskatoon pizza delivery man that took place on March 5. At around 9 p.m. CT, officers were called to the 800-block of McPherson Avenue.

The delivery driver told police he’d stopped his car to make a delivery when he was approached by a masked man armed with a metal pipe. The suspect demanded cash and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say the victim suffered a minor injury during the robbery.

The suspect is described as having a thin build. He was wearing a grey jacket and grey pants.

Investigators believe the robbery this past weekend may be linked to four others that occurred last month.

The Saskatoon Police Service is urging businesses to review safety procedures with employees and report any suspicious orders.
