The preliminary hearing for a Halifax man charged with murdering a fellow Dalhousie University student is scheduled to wrap up Friday.
William Sandeson is accused of first-degree murder in the death of Taylor Samson, who went missing in August. Despite numerous searches by police, Samson’s remains have never been located.

Sandeson’s hearing has lasted nearly three weeks, with more than a dozen witnesses taking the stand.
Because there is a publication ban in place, we can not report the details of who testified at the hearing or what evidence was presented.
The judge presiding over the hearing will make a determination whether or not there is enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial on March 29.
