Registration begins for City of Toronto spring/summer programs

Parents or guardians eager to sign up their children, as well as adults, for spring/summer activities with the City of Toronto can do so this week.

The registration process started Saturday, March 5 at Etobicoke York District followed by Scarborough on March 6, North York on March 8 and Toronto and East York on March 9.

Online registration begins at 7 a.m., however the system is shut down from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. on peak registration days.

The public can also use a touch tone phone to register beginning at 7 a.m. or with an operator assisted registration process.

Others can also register in-person at community centre locations across Toronto.

The city says it processes more than 600,000 registrations for more than 80,000 courses at 135 community recreation centres, 40 indoor arenas and 121 pools each year.
