CALGARY – Police are searching for a man who forced his way into the home of a Calgary senior on Tuesday, stealing several of her belongings.
It happened in the 0 to 100 block of Harvest Grove Green N.E. between 9:45 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.
Investigators said the suspect rang the doorbell, threatening the elderly homeowner with a weapon when she answered the door.
The suspect stole several items including money and jewelry.
He is described as 5’10” and was wearing a black balaclava over his face as well as black gloves, a black jacket and dark blue or black pants.
“At this time, investigators believe this was a random incident,” police said in a news release.
