LAVAL – A 50 year-old man is dead after a shooting at the Carrefour Multiplex parking lot in Laval.
It happened around 8:40 a.m. Tuesday.
The man was hit by a single bullet.

According to Franco DiGenova with Laval police, the victim was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Laval police said that surveillance footage will be examined.

The file has since been transferred to Quebec provincial police.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) would not confirm the victim’s identity, but spokesperson Joyce Kemp told Global News they are looking into possible links to organized crime.
