A new group that includes business leaders, academics and government officials says it’s time to make Canada a global environment brand.

The members of Smart Prosperity want to accelerate the transition to a high-efficiency, low-carbon economy.

The group launches in Vancouver today, with a boost from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The Liberal government’s climate policies appear to dovetail with the group’s vision of an economic transformation.
