ENDERBY, B.C. — Vernon’s Jim and Jaelyn Cotter swept away the competition at the 2016 BC Mixed Doubles Curling Championship last weekend in Enderby.

With the win, the father-daughter duo have punched their ticket to the Canadian Mixed Doubles Trials which get underway March 31 – April 3 in Saskatoon.

“We entered with no expectations as we had never played the Mixed Doubles format before. It was more for BC Winter Games preparation this coming weekend,” says Jim Cotter, who will be coaching his daughter at the upcoming games. “We got on a roll, worked very well together and Jaelyn played great in every game. I couldn’t be more proud of her. A very proud father and daughter moment.”

A total of 32 teams will compete in the trials.
