For Regina proper, the estimated population is 223-thousand people – an increase of about two per cent, which gives us the fifth highest growth rate for Canadian cities.

That is lower than Regina’s five-year average of 2.5 per cent population growth, but still higher than the 10-year average of 1.9 per cent.
