EDMONTON – The Edmonton Eskimos 2016 season will start the same way the 2015 campaign ended: competing against the Ottawa REDBLACKS.

The Esks will host the REDBLACKS June 25 in a rematch of the Grey Cup, which Edmonton won 26-20.

The battle of Alberta will resume Sept. 5 when Edmonton visits Calgary in their annual Labour Day match up. The two teams will go head-to-head again five days later in Edmonton.

The Eskimos will be home to the Saskatchewan Roughriders  July 8 and Aug. 26, then will visit Saskatchewan Sept. 18.

The 104th Grey Cup is in Toronto Sunday, Nov. 27.
