SASKATOON – A man has been charged following a string of robberies in Saskatoon over a two-day period. Police allege the man was behind four armed robberies that happened between Feb. 10-12.
The first happened Feb. 10 around 10 p.m. CT. when a man robbed a convenience store in the 200-block of Central Avenue.
Approximately two hours later, a convenience store in the 1000-block of 8th Street was robbed.
The third robbery happened around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 11 when a man robbed a gas station in the 1600-block of Idylwyld Drive.
In each robbery, police say the man was armed with a gun and had his face covered.
The fourth robbery happened around 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 12 when two men robbed a lounge and restaurant in the 2200-block of 22nd Street West. The pair was arrested a short time later.

Police say their investigation linked one of the men they arrested to the previous three robberies.
The 31-year-old man is facing four charges each of armed robbery and concealing his identity. He is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Thursday.
A 32-year-old man arrested in the fourth incident is charged with armed robbery and concealing his identity.
Saskatoon police continue to investigate.
