Winnipeg’s Millennium Library reopens after mechanical issues

WINNIPEG — Winnipeg’s largest library was closed to the public for a brief time on Wednesday,  due to a malfunction in the chiller system.

The city sent out a media release Wednesday morning stating the Millennium Library, located at 251 Donald Street was closed.

Just before noon on Wednesday, the city sent a second media release saying the issue has since been resolved and all areas are now open and regular programming will proceed as planned.

The Millennium Library typically sees around 3,000 people a day.
