Saskatoon Blades lose 7-1 to Brandon Wheat Kings

BRANDON, Man. – Jayce Hawryluk had two goals and three assists to lead the Brandon Wheat Kings in a 7-1 rout of the Saskatoon Blades Friday in Western Hockey League action. Ty Lewis scored twice and added an assist while Nolan Patrick had a goal and three assists for Brandon (35-16-4).

Tanner Kaspick and Duncan Campbell also chipped in for the Wheat Kings.

Braylon Shmyr scored late in the second period for the Blades (19-32-4).

The Blades play the Warriors in Moose Jaw Saturday.
