Nelly Furtado, Ne-Yo to sing anthems at NBA All-Star Game

TORONTO – Canadian pop star Nelly Furtado once sang about “Big Hoops.” On Sunday, she’ll be singing alongside them as she performs the Canadian national anthem before the NBA All-Star Game in Toronto.

Ne-Yo will perform the U.S. national anthem at the event at the Air Canada Centre.

The 65th NBA All-Star Game coverage begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on TNT in the U.S. and on Sportsnet ONE and TSN in Canada.

Montreal acrobatic troupe Cirque du Soleil will perform before the player introductions and Sting will headline the halftime show that night.

All-star organizers have also announced that American pop-rockers Walk the Moon will perform prior to the Verizon Slam Dunk contest during State Farm All-Star Saturday Night.

That event will tip off at 8 p.m. ET on TNT in the U.S. and on Sportsnet ONE and TSN from Air Canada Centre.
