Staff members followed fresh tracks in the snow about five kilometres down Glenrosa Road and onto a forest service road.

They spotted the missing sleds and three suspects, who fled on foot.

When police arrived, they also found a stolen white Ford F-350 pick-up truck stuck in the snow at the entrance to the forest service road.

A Police Service Dog named Ice was able to follow the tracks from the snowmobiles to the suspects.

Two men and a woman, all in their thirties and all from West Kelowna, were arrested.

RCMP say the suspects had been wandering around the isolated forested area for several hours and were not dressed appropriately for the weather conditions.
