QUEBEC CITY – The province’s new Education Minister, Pierre Moreau, is taking a forced leave of absence.
Last Thursday, he was taken away from the National Assembly in an ambulance during the Quebec government’s cabinet shuffle.
He was not present for the swearing-in.
Spokesperson Catherine Poulin said Moreau is expected to take a few days off before “slowly returning to his duties,” and would not comment further on the matter.
Moreau previously held the post of Municipal Affairs Minister.
