CAMROSE, Alta. – A nearly three-week lockout at a steel plant in Camrose, Alta., has ended with the signing of a four-year collective agreement with the Canadian Auto Workers union.
Evraz president Mike Rehwinkel says it was a rough negotiation and he appreciates the union’s efforts to agree to a deal that is mutually beneficial to both sides.

The company says there are wage and pension increases but won’t give specifics.
Evraz officials says workers will be back at the job on Monday.
There are 105 machine operators, tradepersons and labourers at the plant in Camrose.
