Former NBA star and current on-air analyst Charles Barkley told television audiences Thursday night he wants to hang out with Rob Ford at the NBA All-Star game in Toronto next month.
“Forget Wayne Gretzky and Drake. I’m hanging with the mayor. The ex-mayor. He’s got more free time to smoke now,” Barkley said during Thursday night’s segment on TNT.
“The way I look at it, he’s got more free time to get his freak on.”
Barkley, who has said in the past Toronto is his favourite city in the world, will also apparently spend time in Mississauga.

“We gonna have so much fun. I’m going to hang out at Mississauga,” said Barkley.
Ford has yet to respond to Barkley’s open invitation.
