The search was part of an ongoing investigation of illegal possession of explosives.

Police have a man in custody and is cooperating with the investigation.

They say the evacuation was taken as a precaution until the RCMP’s Explosives Detection Unit can examine the evidence.

A explosives-detection dog has also been called to the scene.
