Regina yoga studio donating funds raised from classes to La Loche community

REGINA – The tragedy in La Loche has prompted a local business to offer help to the northern community.

Bodhi Tree Yoga says they will be donating all the proceeds raised from three yoga classes planned for Sunday evening.

The yoga studio’s owner Colin Hall anticipates the classes will all be sold out and raise approximately $1,000.

Hall says the plan was last minute, and are hoping it gives people a chance to heal.

“For us, yoga is about more than just stretching and relaxing. It’s really about connecting with the world around us, and when something like that shooting happens is hurts people and you need to do something to try to heal and make yourself feel better,” he said.
