They aren’t items typically taken by thieves but RCMP hope they will be recovered.
A 1920’s horse drawn buggy along with two 1940’s tricycles have disappeared from a property near the western Manitoba community of Hamiota.
RCMP shared details about the unusual theft on social media Friday and referred to the case as an “old school robbery”.
Police told people to be on the lookout for “a couple antique tricycles pulling a buggy down the road” and even tweeted out #slowgetaway.
Investigators believe the items, which also included tools and a dirt bike, were taken between December 19 and January 6. Anyone with information is asked to call Hamiota RCMP at (204) 764-2732.
