Inflation slows in Calgary

Prices in Calgary are not rising as fast as they are in other cities, according to Statistics Canada.

Calgary’s inflation rate for April was .9%, the lowest in the country.

Stats Can says the rate fell because we’re paying less for electricity and natural gas.

Nationally, the inflation rate edged up one-tenth of point to 2.0%
