CALGARY – One person is recovering in hospital following a stabbing at a southeast house party on Wednesday.
Police were called to a house in the 1500 block of 49 Street S.E. at around 6:38 p.m. after an argument led to a stabbing.
Emergency crews rushed the victim to hospital in life-threatening condition, but their condition was later downgraded to stable condition.
Investigators said the offender had left the scene after the stabbing but was later located and taken into custody.
Charges are pending.
It’s unknown if the offender and victim were known to each other.
