A Saskatoon elementary school was briefly locked down on Thursday afternoon after a student made threats involving a weapon.
Police were called to Mayfair School on 34th Street West around 1:48 p.m. after an 11-year-old student had a physical altercation with two other students and made the weapon threat.

He then went to a residence in the 700-block 33rd Street West where he was located by police.
Mayfair School implemented its emergency safety measures which were lifted at 2:21 p.m.
No weapons have been found by police and officers and school administrators are working with the families.
The matter remains under investigation.
