UPDATE: Ont. biker charged in death of Outlaws Motorcycle Club member

SASKATOON – A 46-year-old man has been charged in relation to the death of Norman Playter in May 2014. RCMP say John Glen MacAulay of North Bay, Ont., has been charged with second-degree murder.

An investigation revealed that while Playter had been reported missing to the Calgary Police Service, he was in fact visiting the Saskatoon area in the days leading up to his death.

Police say MacAulay was also living in Saskatoon at the time of the offence and both he and Playter were known to each other.

MacAulay is expected to make an appearance in Saskatoon provincial court on Monday.
