PENTICTON – The plan to relocate a casino from the Penticton Lakeside Resort to the South Okanagan Events Centre complex, earned the blessing of Penticton city council on Monday. Council voted to send the B.C. Lottery Corporation a letter approving the move.

The Lake City Casino’s current lease at the resort expires in 2017. The relocation plan calls for a new casino to open at the events centre complex in the spring of 2017 under the name Cascades Casino Penticton.
