HALIFAX – Police have arrested a 23-year-old Dartmouth man in connection with a drug overdose on New Years’s Day.
Police say they are attempting to determine any involvement the arrested man may have had in the medical issues stemming from the drug overdose.
The overdose victim, a 24-year-old man, was taken from Dartmouth’s Horizon Court to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say the man was suffering from medical issues that may have been caused by drugs.
The victim remains in hospital in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
