VERNON — The search for a missing Vernon woman suffering from dementia has ended on a sad note.
RCMP confirm that family and friends of 65-year old Aurelia Wedenig found her body Wednesday in a wooded area on a property at the eastern end of 30th Avenue.

Foul play is not suspected.
Wedenig was reported missing last Friday after she left a mental health facility in Vernon.
