CALGARY – One man was rushed to hospital on Wednesday following a crash near the University of Calgary.
Emergency Crews were called to Ulrich Road N.W. and 24 Avenue N.W. at around 8:15 a.m. for reports of a single-vehicle collision.
When they arrived, EMS found one vehicle which had collided with a sign.
The driver, a man in his 50s, was rushed to the Foothills Medical Centre in critical condition.
It’s unknown what precipitated crash but investigators are looking into the possibility that the driver suffered some kind a medical event before the collision.
