A boxer named Harley is on the road to good health, thanks to the group Boxer Resue Canada.
The pup developed a mass in the middle of his spinal cord and suffered a bleed, which left him all but paralyzed.
His distraught owners couldn’t afford the treatment and were denied a loan from their bank.
They refused to give up on Harley and turned him over to Boxer Rescue Canada.

Vets decided it was too risky to remove the mass, and instead put Harley through a rigorous rehabilitation program to build new neurological pathways.
Just 30 days later Harley is not only standing on his own, but also walking.
“A lot of these guys that come to me in that state you can almost see that they have that drive that they want to get better”, says vet Dr. Laura Romano, “Harley had that in spades”.
Harley still has a long road ahead but the vet says he is not in any pain, and a real shot at living a typical dog’s life.
Boxer Rescue Canada is looking for a new home for Harley.
His treatment has cost thousands of dollars and he still needs more care.
