Chris Jones announces Riders front office staff

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced the rest of the front office staff that will be joining Chris Jones in Regina.

Joining Jones in the front office will be assistant vice-president of football operations and player personnel, John Murphy.

Murphy joins the Riders after spending the last five seasons in Calgary as John Hufnagel’s right hand man.

Long-serving Roughrider Jeremy O’Day will remain with the team in a front office capacity as assistant vice-president of football operations and administration.

O’Day had been serving as the Rider interim GM after Brendan Taman was fired during the 2015 CFL season.

The Riders will have three out of their four GM candidates helping in the team’s front office.
