WINNIPEG — Winnipeg Police have seized a large amount of marijuana, including hundreds of plants from a home in the north end. Shortly after midnight on Monday members of the Marijuana Grow Operation Unit, the Tactical Support Team and Canine Unit executed a warrant at a home in the 300 block of Boyd Avenue.
Inside, officers discovered 338 cannabis marijuana plants, with an estimated street value of more than $378,000.00 as well as 173 grams of harvested marijuana, valued at $1730.00. Grow operation equipment was also found and seized, valued at $12750.00.
A 42-year-old man is facing charges. He’s been released on a promise to appear.
