SASKATOON – A masked trio of suspects fled a business establishment after an armed robbery early Sunday morning in Saskatoon. Police said the crime happened in the 2400-block of 22nd Street West at 2 a.m. CT.

According to investigators, one of the three male suspects that entered the business was armed with a long-barrelled firearm. The trio made off with cash, liquor and cigarettes.

No injuries were reported.

A police dog unit attempted to track the suspects who were believed to be on foot; however, no arrests have been made.

The three suspects were wearing black or dark clothing and what looked like balaclava-style masks. One of the men was carrying a dark-coloured duffel bag.
