EDMONTON — Just days after winning the Grey Cup, Edmonton Eskimos Guard Chris Greaves needs your help finding his game-worn jersey.

At around 5:44 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, Greaves left his jersey inside a Co-op taxi on Whyte Avenue. Despite repeated calls to the company, his jersey has not yet been found.

A spokesperson for Co-op Taxi said the driver didn’t see the jersey but the company is checking with other drivers who may have used the vehicle during a later shift. Co-op will continue to investigate.

Greaves says the jersey is irreplaceable and carries sentimental value.

“The whole plan was to frame it, put it on a wall and tell my grand-kids stories about it.”

The jersey is a green Eskimos jersey, #62, with a CP and Sun Life badge stitched onto the front shoulders. It has the name “Greaves” stitched onto the back.
