WINNIPEG — The 103rd Grey Cup will be played in Winnipeg on Sunday and the national competition’s namesake arrived Wednesday afternoon.

The iconic trophy arrived in a cart pulled by horses at the Manitoba Legislative Building at 3 p.m. and the event was live streamed on our website.
Fans came out to greet the Grey Cup in style. Their favourite teams may not be competing for the cup but the teams are still being represented.
The Grey Cup will be seen again on Thursday during the Shaw CFL Player Awards at the Club Regent Event Centre. Legendary sportscaster Bob Irving along with Global’s Russ Hobson and Mitch Rosset will host a pre-show to the event that will be live streamed on our Grey Cup 2015 page.
The trophy will then be featured during the fan march from the RBC Convention Centre to The Forks on Sunday that will be led by Global’s Heather Steele and Mitch Rosset.
